Blake Monroe Challenges Tom Brady to Step in the Ring Amid Logan Paul Feud

Tom Brady’s slow-burning feud with WWE isn’t cooling off. It’s July’s slap heard around Fanatics Fest, still echoing three weeks later — and now a current NXT star wants him to back up the talk in the ring.

WWE’s Blake Monroe addressed the growing speculation about a potential Brady appearance in an interview with TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, and she didn’t hold back. “I don’t think it would be cringe. WWE is the biggest entertainment company in the world, and anything can happen in WWE. That’s what’s so exciting,” Monroe said, according to ClutchPoints.

She went further, calling Brady out directly. “If you’re the biggest star in American football, listen, I’m British, so come and show me who you are. I think it would be pretty cool for him to come, and I’d be interested to see what happens,” Monroe said.

How this feud actually started

The bad blood traces back months. Brady and Logan Paul first clashed publicly in February, when Paul argued on his podcast that his WWE career made him just as athletic as NFL players. It carried into March’s Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where the two needled each other from opposite sidelines.

Then came July 18. Brady and Paul shared a stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City, and what started as a heated verbal exchange turned physical when Brady slapped Paul across the face. New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns stepped between them before it escalated further, according to NFL.com.

Brady posted his own footage afterward, calling Paul a “dork.” Paul fired back on X, writing that Brady “tries to smack me?? Horrible example for the kids,” and added, “Aura -100. Blocked. With a torn tricep.” A day earlier, Brady had told WWE star Cody Rhodes on his podcast that he wanted “an invite” into a WWE storyline, saying, “I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there, still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete.”

Whether the whole thing is a worked angle or a real dust-up is still debated by fans and media alike — the kind of ambiguity that’s kept it in the news cycle for months.

What this means for a Brady in-ring future

It’s worth noting this isn’t the first time a Brady WWE appearance has been floated. Talks reportedly picked up ahead of WrestleMania 42 in April, with insider Dave Meltzer saying on Wrestling Observer Radio that Brady and WWE were “in negotiations” but that “there’s absolutely not a deal.” Those talks ultimately fizzled — Brady did not appear at WrestleMania 42, and Wrestling Inc. later confirmed the discussions “wound up going nowhere.”

The current buildup, fueled by the Fanatics Fest slap, has some outlets speculating the real target is WrestleMania 43, set for Saudi Arabia next spring. That’s analysis, not confirmed WWE plans — nothing has been officially announced connecting Brady to that event.

Could Brady actually take a bump?

Monroe, who’s wrestled professionally since 2018 across multiple countries and promotions, addressed that question directly too — using her own family as an example of the gap between watching wrestling and doing it.

“You just said he won all the Super Bowls and stuff, so he’s obviously super, super, super athletic. But being slammed into a mat is a little bit of a different feeling,” Monroe said. “You have to love wrestling. My brother once was like, ‘I just want to know what it feels like.’ He didn’t want to wrestle. He was just curious. He got up and was like, ‘Why do you do this? What is wrong with you?'”

She contrasted that with her own first bump: “It was great. It was amazing. I was like, ‘Let’s do it again. Let’s do it again. Let’s do it again,’ because I felt like I did it in slow motion. You have to really love it because it hurts, especially at first. It’s painful.”

That distinction matters here. Bump-taking is a trained skill — how to fall, distribute impact, and protect your body on landing — not raw athleticism. Seven Super Bowl rings don’t automatically translate to knowing how to hit a mat safely at speed, which is exactly the gap Monroe is pointing at.

Other names have made one-off WWE appearances before, including Brady’s former teammate Rob Gronkowski, so there’s precedent for NFL stars crossing over. Whether Brady follows through remains speculation for now — nothing beyond talks has been confirmed on either side.
