Corrections Policy

Effective Date: July 4, 2026

At ENFELL (enfell.com), we operate at the relentless pace of the NFL. Publishing a new, comprehensive football news article every hour requires a highly efficient editorial process. While our goal is 100% accuracy in every headline, stat, and quote, we acknowledge that in the fast-moving world of sports journalism, human errors can occasionally happen.

Our credibility is built on transparency. When we make a mistake, we do not hide it—we correct it promptly, openly, and clearly. Founder Lee Walker and our entire editorial team are committed to this Corrections Policy to ensure you always have the most accurate information.

1. Types of Editorial Actions

We categorize our post-publishing edits into four distinct actions to provide maximum clarity to our readers:

  • Correction: Used when an article contains a factual error (e.g., wrong player name, incorrect salary cap figure, or inaccurate game score). We correct the text and append a clear “Correction” note at the bottom of the article detailing what was changed.

  • Update: Used for breaking news and developing stories (e.g., injury statuses or trade negotiations). If new facts emerge after an article is published, we add an “Update: [Time & Date]” note at the top of the article. This does not mean the original story was wrong; it means the situation has evolved.

  • Clarification: Used when the facts in the article are technically correct, but the phrasing may be misleading, confusing, or lacking essential context. We adjust the language and note that the article has been updated for clarity.

  • Retraction: Used only in extreme cases where a published story is fundamentally flawed, based on completely fabricated sources, or fails our editorial standards entirely. In this rare event, the article content is removed and replaced with a full explanation of why the story was retracted.

2. How We Display Corrections

We believe corrections should not be hidden.

  • Any article that has been significantly corrected will feature a bolded note (typically at the bottom of the page) stating: “Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated [Incorrect Fact]. It has been updated to reflect that [Correct Fact].”

  • If a factual error is present in the headline or changes the entire premise of the article, the correction note will be placed at the very top of the page.

3. Corrections on Social Media

If a factual error is made on our official social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram), we will correct it on that same platform.

  • On X (formerly Twitter), if a tweet contains a significant error, we will delete the incorrect tweet and immediately post a new one with the correct information, explicitly stating that it is a correction of a previous post.

4. How to Report an Error

We value the sharp eyes of our NFL community. If you spot a factual error, a misspelled name, a broken link, or a missing context in any of our hourly articles, we want to hear from you.

Please reach out to our editorial desk directly:

  • Email: contact@enfell.com

  • Subject Line: Please use “Correction Request” so our editors can prioritize your email.

  • What to Include: Please provide the URL of the article, a brief description of the error, and (if possible) a link to a reliable source with the correct information.

We aim to review and resolve all legitimate correction requests within 12 hours of receipt.
