Clifton Park Holds Second Straight 14U Semifinal Berth, Trails Ocala Late in NFL Flag Championship
The Clifton Park Giants were locked in a tight 14U Boys Semifinal battle at the 2026 NFL Flag Championships on Sunday, trailing Ocala, Florida 13-12 with 2:36 left in the second half, according to a video posted by the NFL’s official X account. The score reflects a stretch of the game shown in that clip and has not been independently confirmed by a second source at time of publication.
The matchup is part of the tournament’s Sunday semifinal window, which ESPN’s press office says airs on ESPN from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET, setting up the boys’ and girls’ championship games later Sunday afternoon.

This marks the second consecutive year Clifton Park has reached the 14U semifinal round. Operating under the “Clifton Park Giants” name after qualifying through a New York Giants regional tournament, the team reported by News10 beat a San Diego-based Seattle Seahawks regional representative 33-20 in the quarterfinal, following a 21-14 win in the Round of 16. Eight players from the Capital Region make up the roster, four of them from Christian Brothers Academy.
Quarterback Brady Von Schiller, a rising CBA sophomore, threw five touchdown passes in the quarterfinal win, per the same News10 report — each one caught by a different classmate on the roster. In the NFL’s Sunday video, Von Schiller connected with receiver Alec Frazier for a touchdown during the second half against Ocala.
“This is gonna sound horribly arrogant: [teams] can’t stop us. Like, we can’t be stopped on offense,” a Clifton Park player identified as Jones told News10 ahead of the semifinal.
Last year, Clifton Park’s semifinal run ended with a 41-12 loss to the eventual champion, a Jacksonville Jaguars regional representative. Players have said that loss carried into this year’s tournament as motivation.
The 2026 NFL Flag Championships, presented by Toyota, are being held in Westfield, Indiana, and run through Sunday. The event draws more than 350 boys’ and girls’ teams from across the country and internationally, according to High School Football America.
